Ground Zero

I firmly believe that a serious wardrobe purge is one of the best things that can happen to your personal style. Sure, you'll curse your ass off when you have somewhere to go and nothing to wear (and by nothing I mean that one dress you've had since your late teens that always saves the day), but what you eventually come up with might be surprisingly satisfying. I'm really glad to have had my style stripped down to the core. Sometimes you have to destroy in order to rebuild. In a way, I feel like I'm at ground zero, taking slow, but sure steps to an uncertain, yet undoubtedly very exciting future.

Anyway, this is something I wore a few days ago. I literally needed about ten seconds to decide what to wear; I'm not trying to boast here, I'm just acknowledging yet another advantage of a half empty closet. (The sole purpose of the hat: to hide the pre-haircut mess on my head.)

shirt: Mango / blazer: Zara / pants: H&M / ankle boots, hat, bracelet: ASOS / bag: OASAP (gift)

I agree, having a select wardrobe is much less stressful and easier for you. I too am working on it. xx
