The Return

Feeling like a total n00b after not having blogged for almost a month

Transitioning

Autumn is upon us, whether I want it or not (I don't). As always, I'm not ready to part with summer dresses and sandals, so I'm pairing them with jackets or sweaters to counter the evening chill. I'm gladly jumping on the pinstripe bandwagon with this vintage blazer I got a couple of years ago, not because pinstripe is supposed to be an autumn trend or whatever, but because I've always had a penchant for it. I just hope it doesn't get too popular (or is it too late already?), that's usually quite a turn off for me.

Don't Worry, I'm From The Internet

Somehow I felt pretty Kill Bill-ish in this recently thrifted yellow-ish dress (even more so in the evening when I added a black belt and switched the wedges for my favorite white and black ankle boots). Enter the sunglasses (I swear it hit me they were a Margiela knock-off only after I got them - I wouldn't have otherwise, I'm anti-fakes) and suddenly the vibe turned quite futuristic, which provided me with an opportunity to meaningfully use one of the coolest phrases ever: "I'm from the internet."

Hey There, Thirties

You might find this hard to believe (I certainly do), but it all seems like I turned 30 last week. (OMG WTF LOL!!!!1one) My dear friend gifted me with these marvelous ankle boots I had been eyeing. They were just calling for the company of this dress, another one of those ancient pieces I'll most likely wear forever.
