I feel like I'm cheating if I pretend like I'm "here" right now, so in the interest of full disclosure, let it be known that this is a scheduled post (my first one actually). If everything went according to plan, I should be relaxing on a beautiful beach right now, having toast after toast to my success (kidding about that second part, d0h!).

So, yeah - it's my freaking birthdaaaaay! OK, not literally mine, the blog's - and I almost don't believe my baby's two already! I still recall pretty vividly how I first decided to start style blogging in summer of 2009 and here we are, two years after ... wow. If I wanted to throw in a cliche right now, I'd probably go for something like "It's been quite a journey". And so much more is yet to come, I'm sure!

A giveaway to celebrate the occasion is definitely on its way - I thought I'd be able to squeeze it in until today, but unfortunately things didn't go as planned (do they ever?) and I want to make it worth the while, but it'll definitely happen! The other thing that I've been planning for some time and is also coming soon is my shop. I plan to start filling the virtual shelves in a week or so and the gorgeous vintage dress I'm wearing on the photo above will be one of the first things up for sale!

To wrap this up, I just wanna say to all of you - hardcore followers and recreational users, one-time or return commenters, supporters, hell, even the haters, if there are any reading this - THANKS! :*
